Savoury Granola

Ingredients
150g Rolled oats
30g Sesame seeds
80g Pumpkin seeds
55g Sunflower seeds
40g Pecans
20g Walnuts
1 1/2 Tbsp Fennel seeds
3/4-1 Tbsp Chilli flakes, your preference of heat!
2 Egg whites (approx 75g)
1 Tbsp Olive oil
10g Honey
25g Pomegranate Molasses
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 180 degrees C
- Prepare one large baking tray by lining with baking paper.
- Combine all ingredients except the honey & molasses in a large bowl.
Mix very well with a spatula to combine. - Transfer your mix to the baking tray, spread out evenly and gently press your mix down with the
spatula. - Drizzle over your honey.
- Bake for 30 mins.
- I like to check at halfway-20 mins and give it a toss (so that the bottom gets some love).
- Gently press down again, return to the oven.
- I like my granola crunchy!
- So cook until your oats achieve a lovely dark(ish) brown colour.
- Once cooked, remove from the oven and drizzle over your molasses straight away.
- Hear that slight sizzle of the molasses!
- Give it a gentle toss with a spatula and allow to cool for 5-10 mins before:
- A) taste testing immediately or
- B) storing in airtight jar or container
